I feel very dubious about trusting the CDC any more. Their impartiality has been badly tainted by this administration's political meddling. That's no way to address a pandemic.
Fauci and Birz said 200,000 dead if we did everything perfectly - and 2 million if we did nothing. So Trump actually did quite well.
And Trump said they would be doing well if they got it to what was it? 50K 100K anyways...its a moving target with Trump. And yeah when we were at 150K then maybe 200K was the number to shoot for. Guess what? Were still having roughly 1K a day die from this, we're going to hit 250K and im sure that Trump will then go on about how "perfect" he did on it.
4% of the world population, over 20% of the dead. When you ask Fauci how he would grade us he just says he wont get involved in the politics, the numbers speak for themselves. Well. Theres the numbers.
Under 40, the case death rate is very nearly zero. Shutting down the schools was flat asinine, and still is.
Maybe you dont understand just how much kids would spread the plague to everyone. Now multiply our deaths by 10.
