The OP is celebrating and gloating... and he's no democrat. Most of the gloating posts are from conservatives who "can't wait to taste liberal tears" or "can't wait to pop the champagne and have a great night."
Best to have a great night out whom ever wins. No reason to save the champs even if your candidate doesn’t win.

A poll is neither votes nor results.

Was there a lot of lead paint in the house where you grew up?

Panic? Umm, not really. At least not among the Dems I've spoken with. Personally I've been happy with the strong turnout. People seem to be very motivated to vote this year.

I don’t think they should be celebrating just yet. It is far from a sure thing.
What are the desperate behaviors that you are observing. Who have you seen crying - as another poster claims? The fact that Biden is campaigning is normal not desperate.
Not a sure thing but very favorable odds. Not 60-40 or even 70-30. But more like a 85-15 chance of Biden winning.

Yet, at the same time...

Nope, and I spend a whole lot more time around Democrats than you do

There is desperation on both sides. No doubt about that.

But yes, even hardcore Dems are starting to act in a manner that suggests their conviction is declining. Still, they will probably win.

Exactly what are these desperate acts? Can you give some examples please. I’m trying to see if I’ve seen anything close to desperate among the democratic voters I know. Maybe they are just nutty people generally and have nothing to do with party affiliation.

No matter what happens with the election, at least I will never tell anyone how they were "better off economically because their ancestors were slaves." And that they should feel free to go back to where they came from. At least I have THAT going for me. I can't even imagine being that stupid and rude, can you?

The sad part is they really do believe this. Rude and stupid is one thing. Racist is a whole different level of gross.

Edit- is that me being desperate?

So palpable I can smell it in the air from where I type.

I feel you man, the informative thread about Biden's sunglasses today has me feeling wretchedly desperate as well.
