If you voted for Biden you have voted for Covid restrictions to become indefinite and maybe even permanent. A “new normal” if you will

If that’s what you want then more power to you, but I get the feeling this won’t be that popular and will give Republicans plenty of material to work with for 2022

Masks stronger than a vaccine?! My 4 year old randomly said to me yesterday, mummy germs can still get through this talking about the mask. I'm not opposed to wearing on, we wear them, but I would think a vaccine is certainly more powerful than masks. We werent wearing masks because of the flu or measles.

If a vaccine is proven to work, the COVID restrictions and masks WILL end. Even if the people have to take matters into their own hands and do it themselves.

That said, he's not totally wrong that it'll probably go into next year.

Btw, nowhere did he say it'd be permanent or forever, lol.

There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And, often, there are unintended consequences — people keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.

Spoiler
This is a quote from Dr. Fauci, when he was still somewhat credible.

No Biden didn't say it -- the CDC told him -- you know the medical people

If you choose Trump over health experts -- okay -- but I get the feeling that you aren't a big fan of facts and science.....lol.

Even when we have the vaccine, we cannot immediately give it to everyone. First America needs a proper 2 month lockdown (an actual lockdown from Feb to April) to stop any further spread of the contagion. After that, vaccinate the elderly, first responders, and minorities who have been hit hardest by the virus as the top priority. Everyone else will probably still need masks till fall 2021 is my guess until they have access to the vaccine.

It probably will go well into the summer of next year that anyone that wants the vaccine will be able to get it. So they start with first responders. Then give it to the elderly. Then into preexisting conditions and then to the general public. So even though I do not agree with the mask mandates I could see them until then. At a certain point the general public will get fed up. Politically it will be a disaster if they do not end the mandates.

There will not be anymore lockdowns. At least half the governors will not go along.
