Biden to reinstate COVID travel rules, add South Africa
President Joe Biden on Monday will formally reinstate COVID-19 travel restrictions on non-U.S. travelers from Brazil, Ireland, the United Kingdom and 26 other European countries that allow travel across open borders, according to two White House officials.
The officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the order, also confirmed Sunday that South Africa would be added to the restricted list because of concerns about a variant of the virus that has spread beyond that nation.
It isn't a ban like Trump had authorized, it's travel restrictions and you need to explain how a ban on 26 countries is racist.
Israel has banned all travel as has the Netherlands, I expect more to follow with the virus spiking. I would also expect other countries to ban travel from the US completely with our numbers.

Sorry, all travel restrictions are xenophobic and racist too. Biden said so himself.
On the ABC news clips this morning they were practically celebrating that Biden was shutting down travel from these places to prevent the spread of this new strain but the next clip was about how the Governor of my state is relaxing the covid lock down rules.
Which is it? Are we under a threat of a new strain or can we now stay at a local restaurant after 9:30pm?
Biden is a smart hero that is watching out for us with this ban.
Trump is a racist for watching out for us with his ban.
Let's not forget that the man has only been in office for 5 days and he's already murdered 17,969+ people with his Covid19 virus! His callous disregard and terrible mismanagement will undoubtedly kill many more! And we already know that this evil racist bigoted fascist will kill a disproportionately high number of blacks and other minorities with his virus!!
