Ultimately riots like this are just used as an excuse to clamp down on more rights and these types of people are often used by communists to get power, after which the communists dispose of them. Hopefully this time it's different.
I don't think so. Americans tend to be sheep. Even the most liberal small mom and pop shop owner who has lost their business due to lockdowns eagerly drinks the cool aid and abides. We are a spineless nation at the moment. All bark and no bite. It pains me to type this, but it's true.
