[quote=Steve Hazzard;3715117]I saw this family on the Discovery Channel, I just don't get it!?! Is not anyone concerned for the health of this woman, her age and the weakening of her genetics and those of her children! The logistics of maintaining this family is mind boggling!
I don't get what you mean about the weakening of her genetics, unless you mean that women over 35 (I don't know how old she is) are more likely to have children with Down Syndrome. Every egg is fresh every month, and sperm are made continuously.
Well, I'm gay and I don't have any kids and never will, but I still say people can have as many kids as they want as long as they can pay for them. If anyone wants to fuss about people having too many kids they need to go talk to the welfare queens, there's FAR more of them.
So let me get this straight. A woman's CHOICE only counts if she is choosing to abort her child. NOT if she is choosing to have as many children as she CHOOSES to have...is that right?
Maybe karfar can answer that. Would it bother you if she had aborted all those children? My guess - not much.
As long as they can support their own, its none of your business.
My statement was.....

You must have missed the fact that I was being sarcastic Sanrene. I have been making the point all along that IT IS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. karfar has been making the arguement that this woman doesn't have the right to chose to have this many children. Since she supports a woman's "choice" I was trying to point out to her/him the irony that when a woman makes the CHOICE to HAVE many children, karfar suddenly doesn't support her CHOICE.
Funny, you don't mentioned the MILLIONS of leeches on welfare sucking from the taxpayers?
How about the EIC that lower income people get? No mention of that?
Must be the "religion" thing, right?
Your prejudices are very transparent.
the topic is about this breeding pig lady, not about the MILLIONS of leaches out there, corporate and individuals. but sure i'm quite sure that this family is heavily dependent on the taxpayers to give them their earned income tax credits, no thanks to the socialist government

Sorry LML. I was speaking to karfar THROUGH you. Should have been clearer - I did catch your sarcasm

what I got from karfar's posts was that she/he thinks that it's a bit crazy that someone would want to put themselves through having 18 kids (with possibly more to come ) and then having to raise them. NOT this woman shouldn't be able to choose to have an entire tribe of children. she can, whatever. in the meantime, some of us are welcome to think she's insane.
of course it's none of our business, but apparently they like the attention with this being "news" and getting discovery channel "specials" about their family.
