Belling had a long segment on wednesday's show I wish everyone could hear. He talks about how the more you stress your immune system, the less sick you actually are, that basically when you put yourself in a sterile bubble, not only do you become less resistant towards germs, your body looks for things to attack and you get autoimmune issues.
When they tell you "not to drink the water" when you visit other countries it's because you have a weak immune system. The locals drink the water. This has been partly my argument also. The left says it follows the "science" but the science really suggests within reason that a strong immune system makes you resistant to germs... so why are we so scared over a bug that kills so relatively few? This is WHY I got the vaccine by the way, and why I'm generally pro-vaccine. It's a way to stress the immune system without actually getting sick. It's using technology to cheat code evolution.

This is research that was starting to take hold in the 50's but largely abandoned by the for profit medical establishment. I was watching a documentary on the Spanish Flu and it was a factual phenomena the terror was so bad that people actually died from freaking themselves out. I truly wouldn't be surprised if that is happening here.
