Today is full of all sorts of good news if you're a Republican.

Trump is back promising the best is yet to come.

Manchin has vowed to preserve our Democracy by holding fast against HR1 and protecting the filibuster.

And now, this:

Quote:
Republicans managed to flip McAllen's mayorship in a run-off election on Saturday, continuing forward GOP momentum in an area of Texas that has been a longtime stronghold for Democrats.

Even more significant, McAllen is about 85% Hispanic, and Hidalgo County, in which McAllen is located, has historically voted for Democratic candidates by significant margins in presidential elections.

Rep. Filemon Vela (D-Texas), who has since announced she will not seek re-election in 2022, also sounded the alarm for Democrats and their standing in South Texas.

"Democrats have a big problem in Texas," Vela said in January. "For the first time in generations, or maybe ever, we lost … South Texas counties with significant Hispanic populations. And we are going to have to … wrap our arms around exactly why that happened. It may be a difficult issue to reconcile."

The yawning cracks in the Democratic coalition are already starting to show, and we're not even 6 months in yet.

Get the popcorn ready folks, a political earthquake is coming.

The people are waking up to the fact that the Democrats talk a good game, but their policies are detrimental to the lives of the people who voted for them.

Just because your ancestral heritage is Latino, from Mexico, for example, does not mean you want to see illegal aliens, and many other people who you have no idea who they are, or what the hell they are doing in your city, and no one likes to pay increased taxes for the illegal migrant children flooding into your public schools.

Clearly, a lot depends on culture, wealth, REDISTRICTING that is HUGE TODAY in FLIPPING. Maybe this area lacks Californians moving in...... There is a reason border cities would have even flipped blue in the first place.... lots of factors effect claims and how VOTING GETS new rules on voting in place.

That today is HUGE in how more Red states see time if of essence to get limiting to voting of less those who are of the least means to vote.... that is why Texas keeps trying to get the most restrictive rules in place.... some win some loose and some counties are effected hugely.

This is clearly a Political ball game today.

Except that states like Biden's own Delaware have fewer days for early voting, and more restrictive voting measures in place than states like Texas and Georgia, who are being demonized by Democrats and Biden himself.

Ever thing they did not need to change for political reasons? Do not have mass migrations steered by Corporate America for the cheaper and incentives? Delaware is a tax haven state though for Corporations. Ever wonder why all Walmart Trucks have Delaware license plates when it is headquartered in Arkansas? Now you want Countries that are tax havens... you can look them up and our top Corporations that use that to.... .not pay any taxes.

Delaware does not even have a international Airport. All go to Philly or Baltimore-DC. International can just mean a flight to a Canadian city or the Caribbean.

Exactly. When someone shows up on your door step or worse already in your house for the long stay with nothing but the clothes on their backs, it is not cheap to provide them everything they need. Imagine sneaking across the Canadian border and then expecting them to provide food, clothing, housing, healthcare, education and spending money and you can't even make your demands in the common language?

When I lived and worked in a largely Brazilian community we had illegals and they were tolerated but no one really liked them. They under cut the jobs, did shoddy work and gave a bad name to the Legal immigrants.

With the utter disdain for even common sense that we are seeing coming from the WH it is hard to believe that anyone would ever vote for a Democrat. Imagine if they didn't have the mass media in their corner?

Delaware is too small to fit an international airport.

Democrats think that Hispanics are a monolith. Hispanics in Florida and Texas are very different from Hispanics in NY, CA, and CO. They may share a common mother tongue for those whom Spanish is their first language, but things diverse massively from there. Pandering to illegal aliens doesn't play well with many Texas and Florida Hispanics.

Tarrant County went Blue in 2020 for the first time. Didn’t last long.

Mayor Elections in both Fort Worth & Arlington both had runoff elections that the Democrats were expected to win. The Republicans won both yesterday. The Democrats expected to win the open US Representative seat (death of Congressman Wright). They lost.

Democrat leaders all over Texas are trying to warn that there are major problems with the Leftist Agenda of Team JoeBama. They are foolish to think anyone in Washington is listening.
