This lunatic wants us all to freeze to death in our homes!

Yet, he flies all over the world in his private jet!
You must not have been keeping up with the news for the last 10-15 years. Coal plants ARE NOT economically competitive, the vast majority have been money losers for years. Utilities have to project out long-range decades into the future. Coal is not in the future when renewables, natural gas, battery storage, and gains in energy efficiency mean far lower sunk costs for future deployment of resources onto the grid regarding any baseload projects. A large number of states have no coal burning power plants, and most of the majority were ALREADY going to be retired by the end of this decade- announced in advance years ago. A good case in point is Indiana, ranked number two in the total number of coal power plants in 2008, with massive emissions, toxic coal ash ponds, and water pollution issues in many areas. Now, over 80% of those coal plants that were in operation will be retired by the end of this decade.

The reality for China will be one of economics and advances in technology. As all other energy sources become cheaper than coal for deployment onto the grid, China will have to accept the reality that coal will go the way of whale oil. It may be 5 years from now, or it could be 10-15 years from now. That time will be coming soon, however.

Communist China will produce all of the batteries , nice windfall for them...and how do you think we can plug them in ? of course there will be lines just like the gas lines..but worse to plug in.. Many cars will be stranded because their battery ran out. I see major problems with this. Do you know how many cars are on the road? Millions and millions. We don't have the electric grid to support millions of people plugging into electric power to run these vehicles.. good luck with that across the board pipe dream of Obama. He wants to run us into the ground while Communist China builds back better .

I read an interesting article about huge battery storage at grid level and it was quite eye opening.

and wait until you see what they do to the environment..... sure lets tear down trees and greeners (an co2 user and O2 producer) and put up all these solar farms...which yes do soak up natural energy from the sun..but also soak up and RETAIN the heat from the sun

You didn’t really address my point but congratulations on your success. It’s not your problem if others suffer.
