It can be seen as flip flopping but i think their views have changed after more information came out about that day. I put this in the same category as the outrage over the Fox News staff texts to Trump as it was happening vs how they covered in the in the days/months afterwards. Everybody was horrified at what was happening in real time but after reviewing video of the events that unfolded as well as the aftermath of everything, i can see why some have a very different view of Jan 6 now vs back then.
