Putin has always considered the fall of the SU as the most tragic thing that ever happened. And if he had his way he would bring it back to its glory days but that will never happen.

What it's "over" no one knows for sure, but everyone will be guessing.

A promising thread, so thanks for opening.

Tulsi Gabbard - of course, she is not allowed to be a US representative anymore.

Essentially, the military-industrial complex takes your tax money by scaring you.

Quote:
"Which begs the question of why are we in this position then? If the answer to this and preventing this war from happening is very clear as day. And really, it just points to one conclusion that I can see, which is, they actually want Russia to invade Ukraine," the former congresswoman said.

"Number one, it gives the Biden administration a clear excuse to go and levy draconian sanctions, which are a modern-day siege against Russia and the Russian people," Gabbard said.

"And number two, it cements this Cold War in place. The military-industrial complex is the one that benefits from this," she went on.

"They clearly control the Biden administration. Warmongers on both sides in Washington have drumming up these tensions. If they get Russia to invade Ukraine, then, again, it locks in this new Cold War," Gabbard said.

Gabbard argued that the "military-industrial complex" would make "a ton more money than they have been fighting Al-Qaeda."

She took down Kamala’s entire candidacy in 30 seconds and went after Hillary Rodam in a follow-up statement. You really can’t do those things and stay afloat in the DNC.

This is what many western politicians repeat like a mantra for the last 3-4 years, but this is a complete BS.
Yes, Putin once said that the fall of the SU was a tragic thing for many soviet people and it's true. But he never ever even hinted that he wants to recover the USSR. Instead, he said many times he respects the independency of former Soviet republics. Western politicians claim that Putin wants to seize the former republics of the USSR. But if he really wanted it, he could have captured Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, or Kazakhstan long ago. But for some reason he does not do this, but only allegedly wants to seize Ukraine with the risk to start the World War III. Isn't that stupid? But the US + the UK keep convincing the whole world of such Putin's intentions. What sane person would believe them?

Wrong and by a 100 miles. When the Soviet Union fell in 1991 , We (U.S. and NATO)promised them that We wouldn't push to their borders. NATO started with 16 countries and now is 30 members and getting closer and closer to Russia's borders and arming former Soviet members to the teeth and corrupting them against Russia. See Biden's corruption in Ukraine.

Imagine if China does the same thing on us and arms countries to be against us and builds up their military in Canada and Mexico, how would We react? Can you say WW 3.

Putin's popularity in Russia has been waning, he's low in the polls, so! Let's start a war, even tho' Russians are opposed to a war with the Ukraine!
