My two cents worth up front: I can't believe this; I hope he misspoke. Biden told the 82nd Airborne they were going to Ukraine.
Biden:
"You’re going to see when you’re there, you’re going to see women, young people standing in the middle, in the front of a d*mn tank saying 'I’m not leaving.'"
Our people charged of our foreign policy failed in Vietnam and the Middle East and Afghanistan but they tell us they can control the outcome in a Russian war. They think Russia is like Iraq. Trust them, have faith in them, they finally can do it this time.
If our troops were allowed to do what they were trained to do and not held back by politicians and their feel good, let's all be friends occupations then we would have seen a much different outcome in several of the past Police actions.
We need a Patton in charge that will kick butt then the politicians can go in with their hope, emotions and rebuilding dreams.
Anyone else wondering why the US spends $1 trillion a year on the military when a country that spends $6 billion a year is able to put up such a fight against a Russian invasion?
Oh and I think this sound bite is bs. I cant really tell the meaning just from that small clip. He may be talking generally of what someone would see there and not saying these specific people will be sent there and will see this.
