He also called Michelle Obama the "Vice President".

What an absolute embarrassment.
there's plenty of things to actually get him on without trying to claim he was asleep because his eyes were closed standing up (perhaps he was saying a prayer, perhaps contemplating)...he clearly goes to stop his salute and opens his eyes to see they're still all saluting.

as to the second, it's also clear that's a mere malapropism for when he was Vice President and Jill did some program with Michelle O, and Jill is apparently still doing that now.

Again, plenty of material to fault him with, but these aren't it.

I see what you're saying, but actually it's difficult to discern which mistake he is actually making. I doubt even he knew what he was saying.

Which only muddles the gaffe all the more.

So much better.

No one is questioning his mental capacity?

Poll after poll shows that a majority of Americans don't think he is mentally fit.

Even a plurality of Democrats in some polls.

And just as a Trump saying idiotic things worked for the powers that be, Biden's behavior works for the powers that be also. While we are distracted by the props put in place as our supposed leaders and argue over which particular type of idiot is "better", those who pull the strings can do as they wish. The goal is to distract, and it's working.

Wow.

Where were you the last 6 years?

Here's the thing: The powers that be were totally against Trump. That was about as obvious as it gets. He had the media, Hollywood, the Deep State, and the Establishment of both Parties fully entrenched against him.

They spied on his campaign, they smeared him as a criminal in the Press despite never having proven any criminality, Big Tech has thrown him off their platforms, and in 2020 they locked down the entire economy and turned the Nation into a disaster zone - all with the singular objective of dispatching with Orange Man Bad once and for all.

This is not what it looks like when you work for "the powers that be".

You must have slept through all that.

No, you don't get it. All that you mention is just part of the distraction. Trump was never working for the powers that be. He's doesn't have anywhere near that level of knowledge or intelligence or connections. He's a goofball that people on both sides took far more seriously than was warranted, but that's how it works. Same with Biden, but in a different way. He's part of the political establishment. Trump wasn't, and that was a factor in his election, and understandably so. The political establishment didn't see that coming.

Of course, another difference is that those who voted for Biden were far more lukewarm about him than were Trump's supporters. Lol. Biden never had a "Reality" TEEVEE show so there wasn't the same excitement over him with the entertainment-centric part of the population.

But at least he's quieter. Let him sleep if he wants!

So the powers that be let him win the first term, or were they sleeping and let him slip through?

Trump has only himself to blame for the loss.
