Really?- US Astronaut: Russian Cosmonauts wearing Yellow weren't for Ukraine (invasion, school)

Per American astronaut Mark Vande Hei who was on the ISS, the recent Russian cosmonauts that went to the ISS wore yellow suits not for Ukraine, but because they all went to the same University with those exact colors.

The cosmonauts were shocked when the astronauts and American media thought it was for Ukraine.

This seems dubious, like they are making an excuse as to not get in trouble when they return home.

However, the three cosmonauts in question are: Sergey Korsakov, Oleg Artemyev and Denis Matveyev. Per wikipedia all 3 did attend Bauman Moscow State Technical University and it appears as if that is their school colors. There is also the claim that they had that yellow color jumpsuit BEFORE the invasion and they don't special order them up in a few weeks before the launch.

It does not matter NOW. Fake was let out, basically, forgotten by now, after new fakes, and no one cared then to right it up. As Russians say, don't swing fists after the fight.

Perhaps Russians should have a new saying:
“Don’t start fights you cannot afford”.
