I mean really, all they are are a way for feminists to complain about how EEEEEVILLLL men are and to sow discord between the sexes. Even in the like of "Women's study" what's the point? If women want to learn about women's history; good or bad, they can just as easily use their phones and google it. ironically despite being the same species feminists act like we're totally different
I don't think they should be banned but certainly NOT worthy of a college degree.

If that happened, what would idiots have for majors?
They should if they want free tuition. But if a kid wants to blow a hundred grand on a gender studies degree, knock yourself out. Just don't expect anyone else to pay for it.
This.

Colleges and universities were not created to be trade schools. Instead, they were created to expand on human knowledge by imparting into their students intellectual curiosity, encouraging different ways of looking at phenomenon, and creating a space where fellow deep thinkers could discuss and debate both science and philosophy. I get that they have become a stepping stone better income and therefore have become seen as a more sophisticated (and expensive) trade school, but that is still not supposed to be their primary purpose.
So, no.
Thank you.
IDK why many American think the purpose of a University education is a work permit.
I don’t believe we should be banning free thought and educational freedom at universities. That would make us just like the enemy. What we should put a stop to is requiring students to take those types of courses as a general education requirement, indoctrination is not something that we should allow.

I've have never in my many years known anyone who majored in women's studies. I never saw women's studies listed in any curriculum. I actually had to look it up. Didnt know for sure if it was a real thing. I assumed it was some outdated degree from the 50' when women were discriminated against in higher education.
That said, why in the world would anyone think it a good idea to ban any curriculum/class from colleges/universities if there is a desire for it.
Should the likes of women's studies, gender studies, etc. be banned from colleges/universities?
I would not ban them, but neither should the government pay for them. Government scholarship money should go to needed professions, medical, science, teacher education, police/LEO sciences, computer programming, engineering, etc.
