If she, or someone like her, lived in Uvalde TX we might not be mourning 19 dead children and two dead teachers now.
If everyone were allowed to carry (as the 2A says), most probably wouldn't bother... but a few would. And more stories would have happy endings like this one.

As for TX, seem the dads or moms would have gone in to defend or fight for their Kids- but were stopped. More info will come of what happened.

Today is Friday. There will be shooting attempts tonight in pretty much every major city in the US as well as a number of smaller ones.
Most will involve drugs and gangs.
Many of the participants will be teenagers.
People are patently dishonest in facing the whole "gun violence" problem because it's actually not one problem. It's an amalgamation of:
-Suicides, thrown in to inflate the numbers. (Solution: Mental health initiatives)
-Gang violence, drugs, smuggling. (Solution: Will require many)
-Slaughter of innocents by mentally ill rampage like Sandy Hook, Atlanta Spa's (Mental Health, proper enforcement and implementation of gun laws AND other things)
-Slaughter of innocents by planned massacre (Solution: Mental health, anti-terrorism, these are virtually impossible to "disarm" as even with no guns, they can use vehicles, bombs or even as little as a book of matches on a hot windy day in California. There are several ways that vegas shooter could have put up a huge body count using other means, as an example.)
-Domestic violence
-Accidental
Sadly, this more recent shooter in TX...ok take away his guns. Now what? Well, if he starts googling he can go the China school attack route or the Waukesha route or the Boston Marathon route or.......
The blame and solutions being pedaled are political from both sides. The bulk of the problem is gangs and they're not going away with any law change.
And if the woke kooks had their way, it would be impossible. The guy would have killed who knows how many people--because you folks would take this woman's gun from her and you know as well as everyone else does, that guy would get a gun. Criminals always do.
