You noticed that also? The Republicans are good with that.
"It's hard to believe this has to be said, but unlike this president, I'll do my job and take responsibility. I won't blame others. And I'll never forget that the job isn't about me--it's about you"

When did Biden switched from democrat to republican?
The issue I have with conservatives is that they offer no alternative inflation-fighting plan. They yell "it's the Democrats fault, it's the Democrats fault", but there is no official policy statement from conservatives regarding how to bring down inflation.
That doesn't help me when choosing who to vote for. Right now, my choices are to continue current policy and wait until it kicks in or .......... crickets.........
As has been explained ad nauseum, you can fight inflation several ways.
One is to increase interest rates relative to inflation.
Another - the most desirable option - is to increase productivity.
The left's war on fossil fuels is antithetical to productivity.
Energy production in the US has to take an unrestricted all the above approach.
We must also insist on reciprocal trade with first-world nations.
It doesn't do much good to force our workers to race to the bottom against toothless peasants in third-world hell holes.
Finally, post pandemic spending must be reined in.
Stop spending money that we do not have, by printing it. China, Japan, Ethiopia, Australia, etc., all have much less inflation than we do, because they did not print trillions of dollars that they did not have...
OK, OK. Maybe I hung around this thread too long after my question was answered.
I just wanted to know if the Republicans or conservatives have a plan to fight inflation besides the "let's do the opposite of Democrats" strategy.
They don't.

How has your "anyone but Trump" plan worked out to capture your vote? Quite a plan the Dems had. Basically what you're saying is 'don't do what the Dem voters did'.

When you do NOT control ANY of the 3 houses, what good do "policies" do?
"It's the Democrats fault, it's the Democrats fault","
If NOT the dems who DO control all 3 houses, whose fault is it?
And you can't choose who to vote for?
"When you do the same thing over and over, doe NOT expect a DIFFERENT outcome!"
You all made my point, the Republicans don't know how to fight inflation anymore than the Democrats do.
You IGNORE ALL repubs ideas.
