Go ahead and give me examples of which my statement is not true. And please dont write something ridiculous like nuclear power plant. Even still surely you can pay the workers well when you own a nuclear power plant if that is even possible. And I am only talking about dropping staff due to increased wages, not other factors like losing customers.

What business is the owner the most valuable part, but the owner cant seem to get by without help, and yet the help isnt valued enough to be paid well? Paid well enough to keep the said employees. Also lets exclude nepotism and favoritism like customers only patronizing a bakery because the owner is relatives or something.

Weird, huh?

Question for people here, would lowering wages be good for the economy?

Less buying power for the consumer always works --- never said by a producer of goods ever. Unless someone knows something I don't.

Since the government set the minimum wage at $7.25 and they don't seem to want to do anything with that, since they haven't visited it for the last 13 years. Seems to me the issue is with an employer, who is increasing wages so as to attract workers. Now if same employer raises the price of their goods --- don't shop there. They will soon get the hint, no one (except for maybe the employee who can afford to) is paying for their greed. Problem solved.
