The article states the motion did not make it to a vote. However, it exposes the type of people who are running these organizations for there to even be such a ridiculous suggestion suggested.
Didn't we just have a post saying a few "nutjobs" on a Texas school board don't represent most and that bringing up what they said was obviously just drama?
All I could find was an unidentified once every 10 years working group. This particular group was dealing with 2nd graders. All I found reading several articles was that the left thought the suggestion should be ignored.
The groups make suggestions to the State Board of education.
How you say they are the left is a mystery. Nobody in Texas government would appoint any lefty to any working group.
Much less the State Board of Education.
I was not referring to that. A poster compared what the 9 teachers in Texas wanted to the teacher's union NEA.
That's not even a comparison....9 people vs a union ????
That's why I said the left are grasping for straws here thinking the Repubs are doing what the Dems are doing.
That one never even made it to a proposal. This one did and got voted on.

Read the article. Neither of these posts are true, according to the Fox article in the OP.
The leftists are just trying to get ahead of the curve for the time in the future when it becomes commonplace for biological males to give birth. Frankenstein chit, but trust me, the day is coming.
Not all people who are called mother are birthing people. What are we supposed to do, call them adopting people? Oh, and what are we calling fathers? Sperm donors? And stepparents? What about trans gender parents? How do we refer to them? If we refer to them by their original function in the child’s life (birthing person/sperm donor) how is that different than the insult of calling them by their natal sex?
Oh, the questions……..

The teachers union members need to keep up. Birthing people lost popularity with the left once Roe vs. Wade was reversed. Now the term Woman is popular again.
