No surprise here. Interesting to see how this plays out in the long run.

"The delegates of Sweden and Finland were moved to tears as the German parliament voted on Friday (July 8) to accept Sweden and Finland as the newest members of NATO. Representatives of NATO member states had officially signed the accession protocols for the two countries last Tuesday (June 28) during the NATO summit in Madrid, Spain."

What gives.. NATO has several years left of existence. The very moment US pulls out, and it WILL pull out, it'll collapse. Finland is non existing military power. And, just wait, what WILL happen in Sweden, when they will start realixing, how much they have to fork into the NATO budget, and for nothing, as there is ZERO threat for them. NONE.

Besides, to become NATO member, EVERY SINGLE NATO member must vote in favor. Has Sweden returned Kurd terrorist to Turkey? Did it? As if not, Erdogan will NOT consent and what then? And, if Sweden does, than its own people will riot.
That Germany did something, means squat and, you should have reflected that it was only one out of many, in your OP title.

If NATO is going to collapse like you say then why do you care?

So many think countries "contribute" 2% to NATO. Countries contribute just enough for the coordination function (the headquarters, basically, at about .3% of total NATO budgets) and then maintain their own military. You will be pleased to know that agreeing to abide by the NATO treaty, and pledging to spend 2% of GDP on defense, are the main criteria for membership in NATO.

Sweden already spends ~1.3% of its GDP on the military and had already planned to raise that to 2% in the next few years.

Finland spends ~1.5% of its GDP on the military.

Both are right in line with the majority of NATO members, although I expect a fair amount of budgets across NATO will be raised closer to the 2% goal with Russia's unjustifiable war on Ukraine.

Thank you all about deep insights.
Time will show.
And, ahem, did Sweden extradite Kurds or not? As Erdogan WILL block those two countries acceptance. I hope, esteemed posters noticed, that this was only one country out of many parliament, right? And, THAT was enough to break tears? Seriously?

And yes, I do know a thing about Finnish army.

3,350 staff 640 civilians 19,800 conscripts 18,900 reservists in refresher training 500 deployed in crisis management 280,000 wartime strength +900,000 reserve strength

Some magnificent power, I must say. Considering, Russia is slowly grinding through a million men strong Ukrainian one... yep, quite a force to be weary of. Right.

Except bases and locations to install nuclear missile silos, or perhaps a few biolabs that are meant to benefit mankind and create good paying jobs using American taxpayers money to fund research into deadly pathogens.

I think you completely miss the point of an alliance/multinational operations.

Is the idea of fighting North Macedonia spooky to Russia? No. Is Finland, individually? No. Is US + UK + Norway + Italy + North Macedonia + Turkey + Germany + + Finland + Sweden + Estonia + Poland, etc, etc, spooky to Russia? Yes, or they wouldn't be behaving the way they are now.
