Biden spoke as if it were a particular case, not a generic example. He needs to get the facts before speaking. He's the President.
Ten year olds can menstruate, so yes they can get pregnant. It depends on the particular child's development.

Of course 10 year olds can get pregnant. They shouldn't, their bodies aren't ready for it, but they can and they do. This is why politicians shouldn't be making medical decisions. Like you, they don't know enough about reproductive realities to make far sweeping, general proclamations. I still don't know why you, any of you, doubt that this is a real situation with a real 10 year old girl.

It's because it's the very scenario that pro-choice advocates say will be the result of Roe being overturned and the scenario that pro-life advocate fear will come up that will expose the horror that this decision will actually inflict. It's harder to say that a 10 year old should see this as an "opportunity" when there is an actual 10 year old that was very nearly forced to go through with it. They would rather question that this could happen in real life instead of having to discuss what the consequences are if she was forced to carry to term. How would she be expected to support her child?

The story (faux or otherwise) supports the narrative so left wing folks will cite it to support the narrative.

Kind of like the hate hoaxes one sees in the media.

What I find telling.... The leftists are not upset that it supposedly happened. They are upset that she can't get an abortion. That tells me it is either made up (most likely) or that they simply have no morals and are willing to use a tragedy for their own agenda.
