Women are paying more for products compared to men due to Pink Tax. (cost, money)

This topic has a simple explanation. Women simply believe they need more complicated personal care products, so they pay more.
Not really. Women are just smarter about personal hygiene products like soap, shampoo, lotions etc -- Well, actually gay guys are pretty smart about them too.
BUT - most of us guys don't give a rat's patooty and will just use dial soap for body wash, face cleanser and shampoo. One and done!! And deodorant can be optional.
Personally I like the effort ladies make to look and smell better than us.

Exactly! Men buy the cheapest "personal care" products they can get. Women in general (though not all) seem to think that more, and more expensive, care products, makeup, etc, will transform their lives. I spend my money on tools and motorcycles, not fancy soap.
So...women, how do you feel about this? Do you think just because you're a woman you are forced to spend more than men on all kinds of products?
Oh for crying out loud. It's not a 'Pink Tax', it's companies knowing damn good and well who is going to buy more of their product.
Here's how it works...
Males:
Razor
Bar of soap
TP
The 3 S - sh..., shower, shave. They will use the same bar of soap that they used to clean themselves to 'shampoo' their hair. They need a razor, tp, and a bar of soap, and they're good to go.
Males really are that simple, overall. Yes, some...metrosexuals....like to go beyond that, but even then they still don't buy all of the products that females buy.
Females:
Shower -
A body wash which means a loofah is also needed.
Shampoo - usually more than 1 brand because 'If I keep using the same shampoo, it will cause build up on my hair, and my hair will be less shiny!' or something.
Conditioner(s) - There's the 'regular' conditioner, the 'frizzy hair' (humidity) conditioner, the 'deep conditioning' conditioner, the 'leave in' conditioner, etc.
Face wash - Oily skin, dry skin, combo skin, winter dry skin but summer oily skin, neutral skin, with fragrance, without fragrance, scrubs or gel - depends on what your skin is doing that day, etc, etc, etc.
BUT, they don't always want to take a shower. Sometimes, they just need to 'soak in the tub' with a glass of wine. SO, now we have the hundreds of choices of bubble bath or salts or whatever, based on whatever damn mood they are in, or feeling that they need....
Males? A bar of soap. Females? All that ^^^! And that was just bathing. We haven't even started in on the 'daily routine' out of the shower.
Are you getting the point? They cost more because companies know females are going to spend their money on it. Stuff for males is relatively cheaper because males are not all that concerned about 'how they feel' before they step into the bath. They just want to do their business, shave, take a quick shower, and get dressed.
If females started being as basic as most males, you wouldn't see the big difference in prices.

Nobody is being "forced" to buy anything. Anyone dumb enough to buy something because it's repackaged in pink and proclaims to be designed for women deserves to be taken advantage. Stupid is as stupid does.
it’s not a pink tax, women have to buy things that men dont have to buy like threewolves pointed out. a woman can buy mens razors as they work just the same. a woman can buy bar soap if she wants. likewise, some men use womens razors on their um…sensitive areas.
This really isn't "new" news, it's been known for decades. From dry cleaning to haircuts to clothing to personal care products women have paid more for decades.
EDIT: Whoops, I see someone already said this.
