A pardon or commutation of his sentence won't change security regulations at the airport. Whether he was convicted or not, his actions demonstrated a hazard, and steps were taken to mitigate it. They won't backpedal on a security check because this guy gets off the hook.
well, who is worse in a liberal mind? Donald Trump or the shoe bomber?
What exactly does your idol have to do with this thread? I find it hysterical that the same people crying TDS and "you can't get Trump out of your mind" are the same ones who continually bring him up with absolutely no relevance or context.
And to answer the actual question of the thread - no he shouldn't be pardoned and I have no idea why this is even a topic.

This guy is one of the reasons we have strict security now before getting on a plane, costing billions to the taxpayer and the people who buy plane tickets, and creating headaches and delays everywhere. He belongs in jail forever. However, we have to remember that most things get thought of by more than one person these days; and so if he hadn't thought of this cute trick, someone else would have, and hopefully that person would suffer the same consequences.
He was a failed terrorist, but that doesn't mean he should be pardoned. Someone who failed to actually commit a murder still gets charged with attempted murder.

Exactly.
A criminal that robs a bank, but doesn't actually get away with the money is still charged with bank robbery.
