Is this really what this board has become? A poster starts a thread implying President Biden is considering issuing a pardon for a man who he/she claims "just messed with some shoe explosive and it failed" and "didn't kill anybody". I mean WTF?
The tone of OP's post is that the plot failed so the security measures only serve as an inconvenience and aren't warranted. The reply was that no matter what happens to RR, the hazard and mitigation will continue to exist.

I think some folks on this forum have too much time on their hands and a sense of humor….Nobody remembered the shoe bomber until he was resurrected here. Somehow connecting him to Biden(!)
Government should stop spending money to keep him imprisoned. Dig the grave first, put him in, head shot, bury him. Executions are currently done with extra and unnecessary work, such as hauling bodies to graves.
Basically when you go to the airport and go through security you take off your shoes when you get patted down and put hands over your head and then you chase the machine to get your shoes
That’s all the inconvenience of that shoe bomber who didn’t actually kill anyone, didn’t hijack any planes, he just messed with some shoe explosive and it failed. He isn’t connected at this point to any Osama anything he’s a middle aged guy whose been in jail for over 20 years for almost lighting up some shoe that was not even successful attempt. Biden could pardon the shoe bomber would you like that idea? Actually he deserves to remain locked. He showed no remorse and wasn’t brainwashed either .
I'd rather see him executed as an example to the next dope who tries something like this.
