I think people who keep having children - especially more than 1 - while the Earth is heating up and we are likely to end up with horrible and plentiful environmental disasters including extreme temperatures, more frequent floods, hurricanes, and fires etc - is kind of irresponsible.
Because most people don't believe the silly tripe about man causing the temperatures to rise, seas to flood, storms to kill us all etc.
Even the loons who DO believe those things, have been unable to come up with any proof that man's activities have had any effect on the climate at all... despite more than 50 years of trying.
To answer your question: Because most people aren't gullible enough - or hubristic enough - to believe the hysteria of fanatics who assume man is the one causing these "disasters".

OK, then, let's assume (falsely) that man did nothing to bring about these high temps, severe weather, and more importantly severe droughts. Man's kids are still going to have to deal with water rationing. And the more kids that man has, the less water for each of them.
It's actually not a problem. Used to be, but not anymore.

In a few years the panic will be the shrinking population.
COINCIDENTALLY, those nations with plummeting birthrates are SOCIALIST PARADISES.
WHEREAS, the non-socialist countries are far exceeding the world average in birthrates.
