I've already given my thoughts on whether or not there are more trans people now or if they are just more comfortable coming out in another post but I'll link to that post here. In short, confused kids who are questioning their identity, as adolescents often do, are more likely to try and embrace trans identity as it is encouraged and celebrated by the people who should be teaching and helping them. So yes there are more of them. Kids who just would've gone emo for a while in the past, wearing black clothes, nail polish and lipstick for a time and then moving on with life, are now often doing irreparable damage to themselves and are stuck with an identity they often never really wanted to begin with. And we wonder why they're angry? It's not because of evil right wingers, it's because they're trapped in a nightmare they can't get out of, and the left put them in it to promote their agenda.
