Liberals have long believed that changing language changes society.
That's what the pc movement back in the 90s was all about.
It goes back even further to ancient religions of Hermeticism and Gnosticism. They believe they can change reality and have special knowledge (Gnosis) and they are morally virtuous for trying to awaken people to their confused nonsense.
This is just the old 2+2=5 argument on a larger scale. It's evident to anyone with a brain that 2+2=4 and that there are two sexes. They will force people to say they believe 2+2=5 and there are any number of sexes. You will say you believe what you know is observably untrue as an act of obedience. You may resist but they will browbeat and punish dissenters until they bend their knees and declare the untrue is true.
Like the old Star Trek TNG episode where Picard is tortured until he says he sees 5 lights when there are only 4, but done to a society instead of a person. After he was released and it was all over Picard admitted he actually did see the 5 lights even though there were still only 4.

There’s body parts, there’s hormones, there’s genes and chromosomes, there is grey and white matter and there is outside environment.
Obviously most think sexual make up is only in the body parts. Some have suggested castration would not impede a sex offender or rapist from still doing damage. I think impotency does not change a person’s sex- yet there’s no body function.
My take from trying to read some of this medical jargon - it’s complicated -and they still are not sure. One day maybe get it straight, but not do far. None here are scientists to know squat about the “full“ human anatomy, etc. and neither are these politicians making rules for things they know little about.
Help the children navigate what’s going on with all the help they need and stop demonizing them.

funny how you're so worried about non-existent 'demonization' but not at all concerned with kids having their genitals / breasts lopped off, pasted on, or given hormone treatments that will result in them never achieving an orgasm for their entire lives

This is so strange. They complicate everything when using crazy language. Since they are trying to avoid using certain words (which would make everything clear (and more accurate)...do they just let the kids figure it out that themselves that the "person who produces sperm" is a boy and the "person who produces eggs" is a girl?

So it's impossible to no longer say "boys" and "girls'? Are people or machines blocking your throat and mouth from uttering those words? Of course not. Typical Chicken Little nonsense.
They have their ideas, and you have yours. They say what they think is appropriate, and you do the same. Their dislike to use those words is equal to your preference to use the words.
It's called FREEDOM. Drop the noise, and get a clue.

Why are we codifying all these laws and invading schools with this stuff when they haven't even figured it out or come close to a consensus? Jumping the gun, no?

Good point because what if a student asks "what is a girl or boy?". Yet, the class is not using those terms and what's the point of teaching if you don't teach definitions of terms?

If a student asks "what is a boy", the answer is male adolescent human. And what is a 'male adolescent human'? Someone who has biology to produce sperm after puberty. Thus, a boy is someone that has biology to produce sperm after puberty.
Simply avoiding the terms boy/male/girl/female etc doesn't redefine those terms.

Some like to pretend this is the natural evolution of language. But I think it is far from it. Words do evolve over long periods of time sure but this is totally being forced. Evolution of language doesn't involve some top down government intervention.
Someone out there is pushing this and using the full force of government and media to do it.
