Agreed, and yes it is.

They are everywhere. Back in the 80's they were deep into the offshore boat racing community. Pretty much any expensive sport that one can dump money into will have some questionable characters in it.

Interesting. They were going after cartel sponsored drivers like I said before. The cartel is involved in the music industry in Mexico too. Americans think the cartel is hiding in the shadows in Mexico. Not true at all. At least no Americans were hurt. The cartel avoids killing Americans because they don't our wrath. Only our money.

From your link it says this:

There was not one American involved. Mataron al trébol, el rancherito caf, their bodyguards & a crooked mayor that was riding with them were hit. This was Cartel on Cartel.

We are still waiting to hear from friends. They aren't answering phones.

CJNG doesn’t play by the old Sinaola rules. Their MO is maximum violence and terror.

If this is what it appears it seems really foolish of these cartel leaders doing this kind of event that leaves them exposed to getting killed by a rival cartel. The CJNG is pushing out the gulf cartel in Matamoros. Very brutal group. Like you said maybe in the old rules they don't do this sort of thing.

Well I hope they are ok. I am sure its possible for the Mexican authorities to lie and to say no Americans were involved. Someone in the other website said that they were all wearing helmets so how would the cartel know for sure who they were shooting at?

I don't follow the NBA too closely these days. Which team had a Russian Oligarch as the owner?

I guess I'm kind of like the legendary Chicago Bulls head coach Phil Jackson - he and I are both totally turned off from the league's pathetic political pandering of the last 3 years.

As a consumer, all I ask of businesses with a great product...PLEASE produce a great product and stay out of politics! And if you do this, you will get really really RICH by not alienated half of your potential consumer base! Just ask Michael Jordan, guy stays away from politics and everybody seems to like him, except for Isiah Thomas,

It was the Nets. I do follow the NBA pretty closely and I heard a conversation that the NBA will be allowing Saudi Arabia to invest in NBA teams. The Saudi Sovereign fund will be the source. They already have their own golf association. Plus:

Qatar and Abu Dhabi Are Interested in Buying NBA Teams
