And?

The Premiere league seems just fine to Arabs buying soccer contracts.

Is that a problem? I've loved to watch Ronaldo during his career.

Sounds like a "Mexico" problem. Maybe they should enforce their borders.

I'm afraid I'm going to know some of them. Cartel hit it looks like.
How could this be? Mexico has very strict gun laws. It must be some mistake.

Looking the above charge from 1995 on the dollar is near all time highs. 26 during the pandemic. Its been in the 18-22 range mostly for the past 6 years. Another chart goes back to 1972 and it was 1-1 back then.

The peso has weakened v. the $ over the last 30 years. Used to a $ was worth 2.7 or 3 pesos now it's ~18.

Hundreds of pesos to the dollar?

Don't lie (that's what you're doing).

When I lived in Tucson I know quite a few Mexican nationals that came up to shop and they would lament how the peso had fallen. Makes buying things in the US more expensive for them.

El Chapo was “civilized” in the sense that he did not target innocents and tried to keep tourists out of the bloodshed. When the elder ran Sinaloa it often used simple corruption and blackmail before resorting to murder, but Guzman’s four sons are not as restrained as their father. CJNG skips the niceties and goes directly to killing, the more the better, because it reinforces their badass image and terrorizes the populace while they gain power. Mexico’s president all but ceded to the cartel violence last January when it was obvious the police and even combat military units could no longer control it.
