interestingly enough, BLM seems to be totally onboard with the Palestinian invasion & attack on Israel. The majority of college students are totally onboard with supporting BLM.

Seems there's a strong correlation between the mindset of BLM and the majority of college students in regards to Palestinian support. Not much of a coincidence/surprise considering the institutions in question.

ISIS is in there somewhere apparently as well.

A billboard truck drove near Harvard’s campus Wednesday displaying the names and photos of Harvard students whose organizations signed a statement blaming solely Israel for the deadly attacks by Hamas.

I think nowadays it is difficult to say anything controversial without identity being revealed. It may hurt freedom of speech.

I agree in terms of them both being at either end of the political extremes, and that such extremes often end up having more similarities than differences.

In terms of the history of fascism, I think it pre-dates Marx and Engels, and the communist manifesto, with some fascist values and thinking going all the way back to than ancient Greeks and Romans.

To my way of thinking as taught in college il Duce coined the term and was the first Fascist ruler, at least over a country/population of any size.

It's instructive to point out as so many love to bash both capitalism and US style conservatives with the fascist label........Il Duce was a life long and ardent even strident socialist and communist. The fascist thing was an easy transition for him.

Fascism is like authoritarian communism with a dose of conscripted free enterprise as even these clowns knew government bureaucrats, central committees and citizens committees can't run business or industry for beans.

Ghalayini said Palestinians were awed by the unprecedented nature of Hamas’s incursion into Israeli territory.

But, he added, this was not without widespread fear. “People are also very fearful of what’s to come. But Palestinians, especially in Gaza, have suffered so much over the past 15 years of blockade and attack after attack from Israel, so they feel they have nothing left to lose,” he said.

Netanyahu’s pledge to inflict pain on Gaza and target Hamas militants based in the strip follows more than a decade of repeated confrontations between Palestinian militants based in the strip and the Israeli military that has left thousands of civilians dead, as well as Israel’s 16-year blockade of the Gaza Strip.

The blockade prevents Palestinians from leaving except in exceptional circumstances, and curtails and controls the flow of goods into the area, particularly construction materials, medical supplies and even food.

After a meeting with the Israeli security cabinet, Netanyahu’s office declared they had shut off gas and electricity supplies to Gaza, and blocked goods passing through a border crossing in the north of the strip. Israel’s energy minister, Israel Katz, ordered a halt to Israeli electricity supplies, slashing Gaza’s electricity supply by 80%.
The killing, destruction and suffering of women and children and the aged is makes it impossible to listen to the news. The effect of this will be world wide.

It seems Harvard students are taking Palestine's side but the university itself is trying to do the opposite. Are there a lot of Muslim students at Harvard?

conflicts like this in the middle east could start world war 3. The United States likes to escalate these situations. our politicians love the idea of armageddon. Some think it gives us an excuse to go to war with Iran.

.. because these people need to realize that, Neither side is 100% right and neither side is 100% wrong. people want to view things as good and evil, and many want to view the conflict as colonialist Israel vs native Palestinians, it’s not.

First of all, Israelis have a legit claim to the land, it is historically documented outside of the bible that they lived there.

Palestinians have a legit claim to the land. They lived there before WW2.

With this said, they need to realize that, Jews are always fighting for survival against extermination like it's 1945 all over again; perfectly understandable.

It is the faculty and professors who push the far left Marxism and by extension anti Israel. They are anti American and anti Israel, don't be surprised when a attack happens here again the far left will celebrate.

Remember the Marxist machete professor? She got fired but another university hired after, the leftist system takes care of their own.
