13% unemployment? Uh yeah..... the entire country was LOCKED DOWN!
What did you expect to happen?

And as for Mr. Magoo.... he hasn't done anything in 50 years.

But hey, at least no mean tweets, right?

Glad to correct you. Hard to believe there could be so many corrections needed on your relatively short post.
Don't be naive. The economy under Trump, like the presidents before him, benefited from easy monetary policy.
We haven't had a good economy in at least 5 decades. And without the WRC, probably longer than that.

Why shouldn’t they be? Seems to me, shelter is almost as important as food and water. Unless you think homelessness shouldn’t be a factor?

It's little surprise we have inflation with full employment and labor shortages. One could go back to the Trump era of 13% unemployment and a recession, albeit with a lower inflation rate.
That’s pretty much been the experience of my adult life. Republicans come in on some message of fiscal responsibility. Spend like drunken sailors and tank the economy. Recovers when Democrats are back in power.

Of course it was more about the dot com boom and just a cyclical economy. Just their track record doesn’t match their messaging.

Rents and other shelter related items are measured. Homes whether mortgaged or owned outright have enough of an investment component that they are omitted. Several other countries follow the same logic.
