Well, well, well......what have we here?

Two members of the Hamas Caucus -- Illhands "Brutha Luvah" Omar and Pramila Jayapal -- just got back from a trip to Cuba.

OF COURSE, the group filed all the necessary paperwork, and the Congressional Progressive Caucus gave extensive interviews in the MSM about the trip before they departed for Cuba.

Oh wait........

That's actually NOT what happened.

The Miami Herald published a story about the trip, which forced the CPC to come clean.

“Representatives Jayapal and Omar traveled to Cuba last week, where they met with people from across Cuban civil society and government officials to discuss human rights and the U.S.-Cuba bilateral relationship,” a Caucus spokesperson said.

Both Jayapal and Omar are notorious sympathizers with the Cuban regime and are vocal supporters of ending the decades-long economic embargo imposed by Washington. In January Jayapal called on Joe Biden to lift the embargo on the grounds that it had devastated the local economy.

Jayapal also demanded that Biden remove Cuba from the U.S. list of countries that sponsor terrorism, even though there is no evidence that they have ceased to do so.

I would love to believe that their constituents would vote these two garbage human beings out at the next election, but I somehow doubt that. Until then, we're stuck with the woman who tried to make babies with her brother, and another woman who could pass for Squidward.

Why Did Far-Left Democrats Make a Secret 'Human Rights' Trip to Communist Cuba?

Because they are losers and that is the sort of thing losers do?

Same goes for all of Latin America, the U.S. needs to stop meddling.
Welcome to the forum (sort of).

Became a "new" member yesterday and is already spewing leftist/communist rhetoric.
How much credit should be bestowed on them and their view, 0-100%

We need to change the constitution to disqualify the foreign-born from serving in high government positions, both at the state and federal levels. We have enough leftists as it is. We don't need to import them. That would disqualify nutcases like Jayapal from running for office.

As far as Cuba, the trade embargo needs to remain. They are a state sponsor of terror and need to remain listed as one.

I'll save the mods the trouble -- to all of the pre-Feb2024 forum members, please do not engage the troll.

And yes, these two DEFINITELY should have stayed there. I'm sure Cuba would get tired of them as well.

I'm having trouble understanding what I'm supposed to be "outraged" about here.

The embargo should be lifted.
