AA voters have some pretty clear cultural/generational/educational splits. Biden will do very well with a couple of groups very heavily represented in Georgia - older black voters, black females, black college grads. Where he might struggle - younger black voters, males (not so much a struggle as less strong than with females, and more liberal black voters. Those last groups might come around more quickly due to dislike of Trump and if Trump picks Scott for VP, I predict that really firing up some segments of the AA community to vote against him. The other quirk in Georgia is that blacks are really enjoying flexing their political muscle over the last couple of cycles- they may show up simply to maintain prominence on the national stage regardless of Biden.

Democrat Stacey Abrams ruined her own political career on that same exact thing: costing ATL area Black business owners billions of $$$$$ in All Star Game sales and rentals.

Sadly, I agree.
Having said that he does not need to win the black vote which I would interpret as getting at least 51% which I would bet money on that he does not.
However, if Trump could peel off 15-20% which is above the approximate 10%, that might be enough to carry the state.

Wow. Another MSM article report about Democrats losing the black vote. This isn’t going to be a good election for them.
On the one hand, presidents should focus on all of the citizens of the entire nation, not just on one certain group. On the other hand, this is why many people vote for Biden, to have him carve out special favors catered just for them.

I can understand addressing their concerns, if they are being treated unfairly, not being protected from criminals, and having their jobs, housing and government assistance stolen by illegal immigrants

I think the black Democrat voters in Chicago and New York City have figured out the futility of voting for lying democrat politicians who only pander to them and never do anything to improve their lives or address their concerns.

I primarily agree with your assessment here except for the bold.

For one, Scott's caving in to Trump at that one rally - "I just love you!" - was seen as an embarrassment by most Black people and a craven attempt to be considered as Trump's running mate.

Also, Scott had declared during his campaign a general sentiment that racism is over - in so many words, "I made it so anyone else can." - which given the presence of numerous factors, not the least of which being the presence of the presumptive Republican nominee is far from the case.
