As a young man I was a registered democrat, but that changed after Jimmy Carter... who I did vote for. So as a republican, the last non republican presidential candidate I voted for was, Bill Clinton's second term, but voted for Bush I first time. I also voted for Bob Graham twice for governor and twice for senator ... so he was the last democrat I voted for.

I won't vote dem ever again, the way things are going. I now regret voting for Carter, thought Clinton did a good job for the economy.
Bill Clinton

I worked on JFK's campaign while in college

There hasn't been a dum worth voting for since

I can't answer that question because I have never voted for the other party. Ever since 2010, I have not been a member, or considered myself to be part, of ANY party. I was a Democrat through 2009 and voted accordingly, but I have not been a Democrat or a liberal since then and have voted for whomever I considered to be the best person for the job since then. (However, none of those people were Democrats.)

You know the act of George Bush being dumb was just that an act. He is a neo conservative the type I don't like. Too many presidents like him loved war. He took away American freedoms.his father admitted he wanted a new world order.

I would of voted for Dennis kuchinach a democrat that was really against government corruption. I thought about voting for Robert Kennedy Jr but he still has too many lefty ideas . The one thing I did not like about trump was operation warp speed but I still agree with more of his ideas than RFK Jr

As an Independent, I used to vote for the best candidate regardless of political affiliation, but now because the 'pubs have gone off the rails, I vote straight D ticket.

Now? It’s like why even bother.
Democrats are lying cheating communists and Republicans are incompetent passive aggressive spineless morons. Independent’s don’t stand a chance ever, so why bother?
No matter who or what, it’s a losing situation.
I think I’m just gonna tap out. No point anymore because, does our vote really count anymore? I don’t think so.
I kind of feel the same way.

I usually vote Republican for local elections. Our school board and some others taxing authorities are non partisan.

I'm not registered as either party, but generally vote Republican. I voted for Carter, and more recently I voted against Roy Moore for US Senate. Lots of people apparently did the same since Moore was soundly defeated in what's generally a Republican state. Local county and city politics are supposedly non-partisan.

I didn't vote D or R for president until 2008. My first presidential ballot was cast for Ross Perot and I typically voted L for most positions, when the option was available.

This might shock some on this board but on my first voter registration, I registered with the Green Party. Used to be a big environmentalist.

Its funny you mentioned Kucinich. There were only two real lefty democrats that I ever figured had real standards and principles they lived by, and Dennis Kucinich was one of them. I would never vote for him even if I lived in his state, but I respected him.

The other was Bernie Sanders. I thought he was misguided, but that he actually believed his old school simple class warfare ways were the correct approach. Then the BLM idiots turned his head and he threw in with the hyper racialist left trying to get elected. Any respect I had for him died a quick death at that point.
