I'm not sold on FDR. He had totalitarian tendencies and there really is a question about how much he helped end the Great Depression. And his weakness set up the Cold War.

1. Washington
2. Lincoln
3. Jefferson
4. Reagan
5. Teddy Roosevelt

JFK was too young and inexperienced. He gets rated highly because he was charismatic and got assassinated. He started us in the Vietnam quagmire. He was busy proving his libido with that intern and Marilyn and nearly got us into a nuclear war over the Cuba situation that he created by backing an invasion and then failing to keep his word to give them air support. JFK was bottom 3rd of US presidents. Just not as bad as LBJ, Carter and Biden.

I didn't say nice guys. I said people of good character.

And yes, they too can be lousy at their jobs but now we only get people of questionable character who are also lousy at their jobs. At least good character would mean SOMETHING.

Agree with this, JFK was an awful President and actually not even the rightful President as the Chicago mob stole the election from Nixon. He was just died horribly early in his Presidency. He actually cheated on his wife openly as President, and had sex with Marilyn Monroe at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel pool.

4. Thomas Jefferson - Co-founder and visionary for the country, expanded the territory by 1/3, set the roots to end slavery at Americas founding, put this nation under God.
5. Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt - outdoorsman that gave us the national park, great foreign policy "speak softly with a big stick", a really cool that you would want to hang out with.
Wasn't around for all of them, so it is hard to say.

We can only go by what "history" has told us.

And history is NOT hallways correct.

Anchor babies aren't really birthright citizens according to the wording of the 14th Amendment.
