Is this that silly, bogus "test" that tries to pretend you can be conservative and try to control people's religious preferences at the same time? Or that you can be left-wing and libertarian at the same time?
Garbage in, garbage out.
This "test" has been around for many years. Every few month, some newcomer trips over it, and thinks he's discoverd something new and wonderful, and publicizes it far and wide. It get routinely debunked, for the 3,487th time, and fades back into obscurity along with such fallacies as the Flat Earth, government charity, and inexpensive solar power.
Until the next naive newbie stumbles over it again.
In other words, you didn't like the way the "test" portrayed you.
Was going to make a new thread about this interesting site but found out people have talked about this. this is where I stand on the graph. I've taken the test another time before. I was around the same section of the graph only closer to the middle.
Economic Left/Right: -1.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.38
A moderate Left-libertarian, I suppose?
Some insist ALL Libertarians are on the Right. It's not true. Most Libertarians in America are on the Right, but I'm not one of them. I'm a Left Libertarian through and through.
One phrase, in particular, made me laugh: "Obama poses something of a challenge to The Political Compass, because he's a man of so few fixed principles."

Well, that's interesting. Usually I'm closer to the centre on these kinds of tests.
According to this test, I'm actually almost dead center, just one unit towards the left and one unit down towards Libertarian. But the questions were so vague and not really appropriate for "agree" or "disagree" answers, that I don't put much stock in this categorization. It's more a fun game than anything.
