A Florida woman who has been married to both the former head of the Ku Klux Klan and the creator of a notorious white supremacist Web site is working as a spokeswoman for a school that aims to lift underprivileged black and Hispanic children out of poverty.
An executive with an organization that tracks hate groups calls the employment of the woman, Chloe Black, an "untenable position" and "unbelievable."
Black, the ex-wife of former KKK leader David Duke, is now married to Don Black, the creator of the white-power hate site Stormfront. Chloe Black is currently employed as an executive assistant at Florida Crystals, a sugar conglomerate whose owners, the Fanjul brothers, have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to help build a new campus for Glades Academy.
So, what's the problem? The woman in question s doing her job as prescribed by her job description, why should the Southern Poverty Law Center, which is a Black oriented organization, be concerned with the disposition of her salary? She is working in private industry for a privately owned company that is donating hundreds of thousands of $$$ for the improvement of the lives of minority and poor students! I am really sick of "white trashing" by Black/minority oriented organizations that are biting the hand that is trying to help "their" people lift themselves out of poverty!

A white activist/supremacist serving as a spokesperson for a school of Black and Brown children, is no different than a neo-nazi serving as a spokesperson for a Hebrew school. Or a Wiccan serving as a spokesperson for a private Christian school.

There is a problem because she is being hyporcritical. Also how do we know if she has a different kind of agenda? Some people who go to poor neighborhoods and try to help are the same ones who use what they see to stereotype everyone else.
To me this might just back up the sterotypes she already has.
Personally I do not want anyone working for my children if she/he is going to go home and call them racial slurs...bbkaren.
