When a so-called "holy book" is written by man that names all sorts of rules that 99% of mankind doesn't even follow, I find it personally difficult to take much stock in it.
Interpretations of the bible are as diverse as the diversity of humanity.
Everyone has their spiritual path and what's true for them. No one has to agree with whatever path one chooses as long as the path you are on holds true for you and you can hold your truth up high without being a hypocrite about it.
