Lack of B12 is the reason for brain shrinkage. If you don't eat a diet with meat etc that contains B12 take suplements. All the B complexes are beneficial.

Well, I can't stand the taste of meat, for the most part. So I'll just have to get dumber. I take vitamins but I don't think they're compensating for all the meat I'm not eating.

Don't worry about it. My brother-in-law died of brain shrinkage and deterioration and he ate much meat. It's just another dumb study out to confuse the public.

If it is true, I'm sure there's side effects of eating a steak every day that are worse. As for me, I'm vegetarian but eat meat on occasion.
