This is a list of attacks from 9/11 to the end of 2003.

They did not "start anything like WWII with America". The US stationed peacetime troops in the middle of the Pacific---an ocean that the Japanese had as much right to as we did. The Japanese thought our troops were a threat to them, so they attacked a strictly military target, killing no civilians. You've never heard of a pre-emptive attack? Isn't it funny how we can pre-emptively attack somebody, and blame it on them.

There is something very wrong when people have no problem with the dropping of two atomic bombs on innocent civilians & then claiming not only that it wasn't murder, but that they would do it again.

Hawaii is a group of islands in the middle of the Pacific. As such, the US had no more natural claim to them than Japan did, except for the fact that an American businessman overthrew the king of Hawaii, declared an oligarchy of his rich buddies, and turned the islands over to the US.

A few decades later, Japanese planes attacked a MILITARY installation used by the US on an island in the middle of the Pacific, which the Americans had stupidly left undefended and therefore incurred heavier than necessary losses, none of them civilian. This, to you, was equal to the US nuking of two large cities on the Japanese mainland, incinerating a quarter of a million Japanese civilians.

Once again, tell that to the Chinese and Koreans and Phillipinos -- or don't they count? Because to the Japanese the Chinese, the Koreans and the Philipinos still don't count as they have yet to acknowledge, much less apologize for the atrocities committed by the Japanese. But of course, since the rape of Nanking was not committed by Americans it must not have been too bad, right?
Seriously, go ask elderly Korean or Chinese people what they think of Japans actions during WWII, and whether they think dropping the atomic bomb was the only way to stop the Japanese or not....you may get an education that goes beyond a liberal framework.

It should also be noted that Truman didnot with brutal glee drop the A bomb....he and those responsible for making the decision as well as making the bombs were wracked with indecision and guilt. As well as it should have been. War is hell, and that is the truth.....and all the more reason why it should be avoided when it can, and all the more reason it should be won as quickly as possible when it can't be avoided.

I suggest you take this discussion over to the history forum.....there are people there much more educated then you or I on what led to dropping of the atomic bomb.

There is also something very wrong with people unable or unwilling to see the whole the picture of the incident in relation to its time. Just as with people who are so blinded with patriotism that they will condone anything, it is equally unsettling for people to be blinded with white/first world angst that they can only judge history through the lens of self hatred (anti americanism).

Let me tell you something about living in America. When an American objects to his country's policies, you do not say "Why don't you lave?". Leaving is a cop out. That might be what people from your country regard as the answer to differences of opinion, but not this one.
Good lord, more mindless babbling.

Dude, you're not even criticizing the policies, your posts are labeling the US as murders and terrorists, so if that's what you think of the US, then GET OUT.

There were also Christians who died during the attacks. More pathetic and radical attempts at making this into a religious Christian vs Islam issue. Liberal logic at it's finest.
