just because you claim to have some small bit of intelligence doesnt mean that you do , you could be a kid too young to vote letting your older borther feed you lines to post...

such is the way of the internet.

frankly I do not care what you personally believe, I am not talking to those who have their head set firmly up their butts

I am talking to people of reason and intelligence.

I as a matter of truth have a white mother and a bi-racial black/white father

bigots who happen to be black call me "high yellow" bigots who happen to be white call me "******"

I get it from both sides , you do not phase me.

Are we suppose to vote for the White man who is hellbent on the continued destruction of America just to prove we aren't voting for the Democratic nominee?

You can be liberal and conservative and their are conservative Democrats. Its obvious why this thread is Republican, and I believe the OP was actually is refering to Republicans/Mccain supporters.

I guess many are confused by anyone choosing to be a Republican in today's environment [GOP in serious decline]. But having an awareness of racial concerns also suggests rejecting Republicanism. Bottom line, however, is character. To accept ignorance\ bigotry is almost a pathology & repels most people. Why not you?

Not voting or voting for someone because of their color? Do you think life is really that simple? I can find a lot reasons not to vote for Obama. He'll run up your taxes and blow a wad of money. He'll put us in more debt. We can't afford the change he wants, he's not the one this time round. Maybe next time but I'll pass on him this time.

One would have to accept your definitions and assumptions to agree with you concerning my choice of party.

I find more ignorance and bigotry on the other side to be honest.

Oddly , I find the fact that certain people have trouble with my having a mind of my own and my own opinions on issues to be more prominent on the supposedly "progressive" Democratic side.

Republicans were the party which ended slavery and which pushed for the Black vote, not Democrats
Republican values - love of God/religion - love of country - the belief in a free market capitalism- respect for the rights of citizens- small government low taxes
- core values based on the very foundations of this country - are not anti black or anti minority

socialism is something I will refuse , anything which is contrary to the fiber of my being I will not support whether it is a smooth talking white or black man or woman selling it .

i agree with your assessment on core values and your rejection of socialism!
would it be alright to walk into your neighbor's house and take some of their things if they had more than you, because you were equally worthy? our whole lives we have been taught that this is wrong! it is intrinsically wrong to take from one group to benefit another group, or redistribute the wealth as obama would have you see it. i reject that notion and believe a society will only succeed in dragging itself down long-term with that type of mentality which actually derives its benefit from pitting people against other people.

Blacks was voting as early as 1871, but it didn't last. The right to vote was denied to Black Americans through slavery, literacy polls, and act of terrorism(threatening/killing blacks). Blacks really didn't get the right to vote until between the years 1965-1967 when Lyndon Johnson signed the Voters Right Act in 1965 and gave blacks the right to vote. Lyndon Johnson is one of the big reasons why most blacks switched to Democrat.

It might help you to read history post 1960 when Democrats forced racists out & Republicans gladly embraced an ignorant electorate with false promises & hatred. Rove isn't the only Republican to admit that the "base" are fools in the hands of criminals. Too bad you haven't recognize that & it clearly betrays your values\ intelligence.
