Wow!

Does anyone else around here feel that something like a "civilian national security force" would quickly devolve into an exercise in Orwellian thought policing, the primary objective being the identification and processing of "hate" criminals and other "domestic terrorists"?
Isn't that what all the right wing, yosimmite sam gun addicts want anyhow? Isn't America where everyone needs at least 17 guns, half of which to be carried openly on their person everywhere from the zoo to walmart?

This concept along so many others are pretty strange. It sure does appear that the mouth runs faster than the mind when creating the laundry list of promises. It will be very interesting to see how the various degrees of "change" will be introduced and what their impacts will be.

Where I live, the only place we can not open carry is a school, bar or federal building. I own more than 30 guns. What's your point?

There are just as many on the "left" who support private ownership of firearms and that carry firearms with them -

It is simply not a "right" v "left" issue.

It is an American issue
