Look at this guy!!! His beliefs are even goofier than his face!!!

the sad thing is a stupid person like yourself probably voted for McCain and Bush

And Al Franken will make a great Senator, a shame there arent more people like him, Minnesota also elected Paul Wellstone who the Republicans most likely killed, looks like they have some smart people in Minnesota

The guy has a 34% approval rating in Minnesota. There is no way someone like that could win if there was another election held tomorrow.

Franken has a 34% approval rating after not even serving 1 day as senator?

Neutralize? Do you ever listen to the so-called "mainstream" media? I don't think we needed Al Franken to "neutralize" anybody. Rush, Hannity, and others like them are providing the necessary balance to the rest of the media, which is decidedly biased toward the left. That isn't even arguable, and it's not even a fair fight!

What do we need someone like Franken for? Besides, the guy is just an idiot. He isn't even funny (he's supposedly a comedian?).

Apparently you haven't realized the Senate has been fully controlled by Democrats for the last two years, and effectively controlled by them for most of the Bush Administration, as they were able to block appointees (through Unconstitutional measures) and largely prevent the Republicans from advancing their agenda.

This whole Democrat Congress has been laughable, if it weren't so pathetically incompetent and corrupt. It's going to get worse too, now that (illegitimate) Obama will be in the Oval Office.

I really fear for our country. I think we are seeing the end of freedom and democracy.

"Great"??? What's your definition of "great"? The guy is not only and ass; he's an idiot.

What is it that makes you think he will be "great"? A wild assed guess?

Besides, he didn't win. This election was stolen, quite clearly. How is it that they found so many "new" votes for Franken, yet none for Coleman?

Votes were counted different ways in different areas, depending on what method would give Franken the advantage.

Do we look stupid? This is obvious to everyone, and it is an old Democrat game. Much like Florida, 2000.

We are also one of the most educated of states.

BTW, have you noticed that, for the most part, the more educated states are more likely to be democratic?

What is the proper balance between fact and spin, between truth and lies, between information and disinformation?

You mean by filibustering a dozen or so judicial nominees? You know what filibusters are, right? They are the things that Republicans broke the all time record for IN THE FIRST YEAR of the 110th Congress. Is that what you mean by unconstitutional measures???

I fear for your ability to walk and chew gum at the same time, at least in any sort of political context...

Franken wouldbe the poster child for disgrace of modern American politicians. Minnesotans may be nice folks. They cannot be particularly bright!
