An email is going round telling all woman to be on their guard after a woman was drugged using Burundanga. The drug comes from a part of the Cocaine plant, mainly the stem.

Similar to Rohypnol, the drug was on a business card that a man gave to her while she was filling up at a garage. After leaving the forecourt, the men followed her in their car. She started getting dizzy feelings and so pulled into a driveway and honked her horn, the men sped off.

Burundanga is used in foreign countries to knock out tourists so their belongings can be stolen. Its the first time that I have heard of it being used here in the UK.

99.9% of the "warnings" you receive have very little or no factual basis. Some have been going around for years....

Yes its used over seas to knock people out and rob them but she would have to eat the card and perhaps 2 of them for it to work.
