Good Lord. I was just told by a Bush supporter that it is. What the FOX is wrong with these people?

Anyway, this is kind of a vent. But if anyone would care to explain this mentality to me, I'd appreciate it.

Near as I can tell, this person is just a sore loser.

If he is a Bush supporter, then he is a hypocrite.

It's a trait that seems to be spreading like a virus amongst <ahem> certain segments of society.

I travel for work sometimes, and I have to interface with people who now will not talk to me because about anything unless it's directly related to business. I made the mistake of getting drawn into political conversations with a couple of them, and they discovered I was for Obama-Biden, so, now it's the cold-shoulder for me!

Yeah, near as what I can tell, in her opinion, I am so unimportant that to care about who is in office is 'narcissistic," as I am so unimportant and certainly too low down on the food chain for it to matter. Make sense? I didn't think so.

to explain the mentality sounds like an ill qualified person trying to do a put down you don't deserve.

Somebody who's slamming you is confusing her vocabulary. Being concerned with something that affects the country and world at large is pretty much the antithesis of narcissism. Maybe tell her that, just so you can watch her head explode at trying to figure out what "antithesis" means, since her definition of "narcisissistic" is causing such confusion.

The words Republicans and sense should not be used in the same sentence.

You are right. Up is down. Black is white.

She also accused me of being jealous of her getting back with her ex, when I was the one who kept pushing her to do so! What a biatch. I am so done with her.

But it is so true in Bush speak - whatever he says, figure on the opposite. And whenever a republican gets ticked off at proposed legislation, consider it GOOD for Americans.
