Hahahaha what an idiot!! He obviously doesn't understand what pirates do. Pirates hijack stuff, that's what they do, that's their job. Some are better at it than others. In this case, these guys are at least very good. To hijack an oil tanker the size of an aircraft carrier in the broad daylight and on the "high seas" can't be considered as nothing less than impressive. There's nothing "two-bit" about these pirates.

Its not as difficult as you might think. 20 armed hijackers in speed boats
surround this lumbering slow moving ship. A floating bomb. The tankers rarely if ever carry a security foce. Its armed robbery on the high seas.
A carrier of course not only has 5000 plus sailors but also a highly trained well armed Marine security force on board. There really is no comparison.
The goal is less the cargo and more the ransom for the crew and ship. Now if said tankers would have a helo hanger installed and carry just 1 or 2 sea cobra's LOL these hijackers would soon learn to look else where for easy cash.

Well believe it or not many countries promote pacifist ideas and do not recognize that a civilian has a right to defend themself.There was a tv show on this and due to international laws and distrust of civilians with firearms the shipping industry is left vulnerable to these pirates.Makes no sense.......
Might have to start the ol convoy system with air cover and armed boats etc.
