And failing miserably. Why should 50% of the air time be given to an audience that obviously isn't there.

The fairness doctrine was originally set up when you had three stations, thus making it easy to have a monopoly on news and the info given. Now, with the internet, satellite radio, etc, etc, etc., liberals and conservatives have infinite outlets for their talking points.

Liberal radio has a chance to make it, if their people listen, which they don't. Doing this is only an attempt to try and silence successful conservative voices.

It works both ways.
Let each party pac pay its own way in a 50/50 split. The party that pays gets its share of the 50 according to its ability to pay. Airtime that can't be paid for should be dead air. We'll see how long they call it 'fair'.

What about NPR...I guess if conservative talk show hosts have to have opposing viewpoints, then maybe NPR can balance their programming out?

You probably do not know that the primary purpose of the federal government is to provide for the "common defense" (that's in the Constitution).

So, are you calling those who insist on providing for our defense, "War Mongers"?

What was 9/11? It was an attack on the United States of America. So was the bombing of the USS Cole.

We the people, of the various States, demand that our government protect us from these threats to our liberty. That is their sworn duty!

Read the Constitution. And take a course in American history, and American government, before you make any further asinine statements like you made above.

Top rated radio talk shows in America

1. Rush Limbaugh
2. Sean Hannity
3. Glenn Beck (and Glenn, as does Sean, also has a TV show, now on Fox at 5:00 PM, formerly on CNN)

Well, I don't know who you are, but Beck is no "idiot", and he is on every day defending your liberty and right to make such absurd comments. Perhaps you should listen to him? You might learn what America is all about.

GB is just a clown and not even a good one. Ask him, cause that's how he defines himself. Some more 50s communist witch hunting? Man, he is 50 years late... Didn't he hear that the Soviet union is no more and our best business partner is... China? And that USA (the leader of capitalism and free world) is broke and needs to borrow money from...communist China???
Yes, I learned what his America is about, mine is about other things...
