Of course that doesn't add in agents who have preformed background checks on the kid on the fryer. In short a trip to Micky D's is an exorbitant cost at the tax payers expense. As a result the only alternative is for the President to remain sequestered in the White House for four years.
Wouldn't it be cheaper for a security person or maybe a White House personal assistence to go to McDonalds...like most celebraties do if they want it and that way to save and waste money....Isn't the president getting enough time to go to places...and I don't feel sorry for him..this is what he wanted and he goes dancing, has a house to go to if the wants a break....how many people have that.

I didn't find it funny.
Wishing death on a public figure is not funny; it's immature, and in the case of the president, any president, it is illegal.

I agree with chiligirl - kooter stepped over the boundary and issued a thinly veiled threat. A threat is an assault.

Do you comprehend the poll question and the answer options? Let me help you. Read it very, very slowly two or three times... I chose answer option #3.

Poll question: Should the President Ever Leave The White House Grounds

Answer option #3: yes but Presidents don't need security

And I posted the following message in support of the way I voted in the poll: "Yes, he should leave the White House often...WITHOUT security."

President Obama is POTUS 24/7/365. He is never off duty. As far as I am concerned he can do his job wherever he wants. Besides the total cost of Presidential security is equivilant of 20 minutes of the Iraq/Afghan wars.

No, and neither is delusion. Which, clearly you're delusional if you thought Kootr was kidding. Some people are good at making a statement that can be spun into a joke if the need arises but clearly he meant what he said. I expect you'd be appalled if someone said that about Bush, I know I'm appalled whenever anyone talks about the President being killed and I felt the same when Bush was in office.

Nice try, you said, and I quote: "Yes, he should leave the White House often...WITHOUT security."

We all know what you meant by that statement, don't play dumb.

Bush? Not at all. If I had a dollar for every "I wish Bush was dead" posting over the past eight years I could retire the debt myself. I suggest you go back and read his post.

You see what you want to see...[MOD CUT]

You guys seriously think the president should cocoon himself in the bowel of the white house & never leave unless it's of utmost importance? Like what, vital to american security? Give me a break people. This is just ridiculous.
