I hope Limbaugh, Hannity and co keep up their constant attacks on every single thing that Obama says or does. Give them enough rope and they will hang themselves.
People are already getting bored with Limbaugh and company's hatred for all things Obama.

Some people are addicted to power? Who would'a thunk it.

Next.

I love Rush.

Have I mentioned I've been on his show 4 times? Of course, you have to have something intelligent to say, so that would rule out some people.

Limbaugh Likens Democrats' 'Quest For Power' To Drug Addiction

Radio infotainer Rush Limbaugh took some time out today to talk frankly about his own drug addiction. HA HA KIDDING! Actually, Limbaugh took the time today to weirdly equate the Democrats governing philosophy with criminal Oxycontin abuse. No, I don't think this was supposed to make sense, thanks for asking!

Oh....it gets better, Rushbo fans, get a load of this:

LIMBAUGH: Have you ever had a genuine addiction to something? Well I have and let me tell you about it. It makes you entirely unreasonable and irrational. It is all you care about. Nothing else matters no matter how important...it doesn't matter as much as the addiction. Feeding it, the fear of not being able to is what animates your existence every day. These people are addicted to power because they think it is their birthright. And I'm not just talking about the people in Washington, elected officials, I'm talking about some of -- not all -- but some of the rank and file, madcap insane liberals that you will find blogging, that you will find emailing, that you will find on the protest march. Their lives are basically meaningless, their addiction to power and dominance and control is what drives them.

Wow, I think someone fell off the wagon.
Hahaha. Wow. I guess his ex wives could chime in on this one.

Is he not right, though? I mean addiction is addiction and one can be addicted to anything. The signs are pretty much the same no matter the addiction.

He's being hyperbolic about the Democrats' ambitions, but giving a wider, as it were, window than most of us want to have on his own wistful memories.

Gosh, I think old Rush handled his addiction like an adult. He did not become a victim citizen and go on food stamps. Besides, it was a legal prescription and addictions happen. They actually happen to some of my favorite people, Eric Clapton who is a genius, Keith Moon, the best drummer this country has ever seen...may he rest in peace. So people do get addicted and what you do with it defines you.
