I also like this idea to send a tea bag to everyone in Washington who is not working for us the people!


Sending a bag to each of the “representatives” of our respective districts.
Congressmen, Senators, and even any of the local hacks that seem to have forgotten that WE pay their wages.

There’s a storm abrewin’……. What happens when good, responsible people keep quiet? Washington has forgotten they work for us.
We don’t work for them.
Throwing good money after bad is NOT the answer.

So, here’s the plan. On April 1, 2009, all Americans are asked to send a TEABAG to Washinton , D.C.
You do not have to enclose a note or any other information unless you so desire. Just a TEABAG.

I visited the sites of the ‘New American Tea Party’ and an online survey showed over 90% of thousands said they would send the teabag on April 1. Why, April 1??

We want them to reach Washington by April 15.

Will you do it? I will. Send it to;
1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington , D.C. 20500 .

If you are disgusted and angry with the way Washington is handling our taxes, if you are fearful of the fallout from the wreckless spending of billions to bailout and “stimulate” without accountability and responsibility, then we need to become one loud voice that can be heard from every city, town, suburb and home in America.

There is a growing protest to demand that Congress, the president and his Cabinet listen to us, the American citizens.

What is being done in Washington is not the way to handle the economic freefall. So here’s the plan:


On April 1, 2009, all Ameicans are asked to send a teabag to Washington, DC. You do not have to enclose a note or any other information unless you so desire. Just a teabag.
Many cities are organizing protests.
Send your teabag to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, DC 20500.

For maybe the 10th time I am asking: What, then, is the best way to handle this economic crisis. So many seem to know what isn't the way to handle it.

There's a group called New American Tea Party (not the group "organizing" sending the tea bags) who are organizing tea parties to be held across the US on April 15. They suggest the following concerning sending tea bags:

The best way is to lower corporate tax rates and drastically reduce government spending to avoid massive inflation down the road. This is at the core of the tea parties.

You may not like the answer since it doesn't parallel voodoo Keynesian economics, but it's an answer.

Since it is "not" going to a private residence and going to the WH it does take longer to actually make it to its destination! Also depending on what part of the country you are sending if from can take 5+ days to get to a private address let alone the WH!

I am hoping they get millions of tea bags sent along with the tea protests it looks pretty good as some cannot participate in the protests or are not the protest type but "will" send a tea bag.
